When I'm not on stage, I'm Estelle
Behind my Pop/Rock alter ego 'Zelda Jeane', there's me...
If you want to get to know about me, I could tell you my name is Estelle. That I was born in 1994. That I am half French, half Vietnamese, and moved to London (UK) in 2016. But that would just be some kind of basic information that no one really cares about – at least if you’re enjoying the kind of content and art I create; meaning you like depth and deep conversations.
If you really want to get to know me, I invite you to keep up with the content of this blog, which will reflect my deepest thoughts and emotions. Unlike the majority of people, I indeed feel everything on extreme levels. Good and bad. And my way of channeling all these racing ideas is Art.
I am mainly a singer, but more than this, I am an artist in the heart. Whenever I can, I transform my emotions into songs, texts & poems. I also paint them feelings, and I sometimes get lost in art journaling.
Another way is creating concept short-movies and videos based on poems or ideas. Or an emotion I cannot process yet. I love editing videos and reflecting art, symbolism, meaning and inspiration all in one.
The reason why I decided to create a whole blog for this, instead of keeping my private diaries or portfolios, or even posting snippets on social media, is simply because my mind is a bulldozer. I am all over the place and I change my hobby pretty much every day – as long as it is creative enough and a way to express my inner tumult. So I needed my own place to gather all of this.
It’s kind of my own proof to myself of the meaning behind “being an artist”, beyond the idea of making a living out of it to qualify for the title (but let’s keep dreaming, you know).
“My art is an expression of who I am, what I love, and what inspires me…”
